On Demand

Patch Together have a brand new feature. On Demand.

First, if you weren’t aware of the Patch Together website let me educate you. PT is a website where artists can come together and upload their toy designs for voting. Once a month the toy design with the highest voted will be put into manufacture at a limited quantity. The designer of the toy receives commission of the toy sales and the noteriety of having a manufactured toy.

The NEW feature on the PT site is called On Demand. This feature enables people to “pre-order” toy designs that haven’t won. Each design on the “On Demand” will be set a production quantity and once that quantity is met via pre-orders it will be put into manufacture. This has two cool bonuses. 1 = You don’t have to win to have your toy made and 2 = These production numbers are low and will only be made for those who pre-ordered the toy meaning they will be impossible to buy once released unless you were one of those who pre-ordered the figure making them uber-collectable.

Here is one of the On-Demand designs which I have to say rocks

So make sure you go to check them out and show your support. The more people buy via this site the stronger it will become and the more under-appreciated artists will be able to break into the vinyl toy market.

Hazy & Lazy @ ToyLife

American artists Snaggs & Arbito are currently showing new work at the ToyLife designer toy store and gallery, Brighton, UK.

Their show “Hazy & Lazy”  was used to launch Arbito’s first Hand sculpted, cast & painted figure : The Cosmic Hobo.  The first 10 of these eagerly anticipated characters are available exclusively through ToyLife.  These have the standard Hobo color scheme and are signed and numbered, but this first 10 are specially marked “Brighton uk” so you can be sure it’s one of the original first 10 Hobo’s.

There are still some available to buy through the ToyLife shop

New OZZEL – Hellfire Punisher

This is a super limited release of just 6 (trying to reference 666…) that’ll be released on Porzilla, next week. Like all previous Ozzels, these have been handcast, painted and the boxes all put together ourselves, so a lot of love and time has gone into making them. They’ll come with handmade stickers and some info about their backstory.
